The Downlight ground light was created by the professor for product design Volker Albus for the young lable Next Home. The white Downlight light, which combines the high-quality materials stainless steel and glass, was awarded, among others, the Design Plus and the International Designpreis Baden-Wuerttemberg”.

Downlight – simply different. Due to the ground orientation of the Downlight light by Next Home, rooms can be illuminated in a completely new way. Depending on where you place it, you can create a direct or indirect illumination of the room.

The button for the Downlight light is located in grab level on the rod, on which the Downlight light can be fastened and re-positioned. A luminous ring around the button shows you where to press when it is dark.

Volker Albus, born in 1949, studied architecture at RWTH Aachen from 1968 to 1976, and then started working as a freelance architect. In 1984, he began designing furniture and interiors. Designer Prof. Volker Albus
