The designer Cecilie Manz designed with Pura a series with famous tools in a modern interpretation.

The ultimate purity and refined expression of bone china, combined with Cecilie Manz’ talent for design, have given birth to Pura.

Pura is a series of multi functional dishes. Shape and expression for Pura were reduced on only the most necessary. The centre is on the function of the tools: Every piece can be used for everything you want. The cups in the different sizes are usable for mocha, green tea, coffee or milk coffee.

The name of the dish series, Pura, bears on its extreme minimalistic design and the purism of is material, of the bone china. This porcelain gives the objects of Pura a shining cleanliness and whiteness.

Puras timelessness in concerning to design and material afford the application of the dishes, where every object can be used for many purposes.

Pura dish-series is also available on request with other cups (height: 65 mm and 86 mm), plate (diameter: 140 mm and 210 mm), bowls (diameter: 140 mm and 210 mm) and a jar (height: 145 mm).

Cecilie Manz was born in 1972 in the Danish Odsherred. After her studies at the Danish School of Design and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki did she openin 1998 her own Studio „Manz Lab“ in Copenhagen. Designer Cecilie Manz
