Already in 1937 the design of the Aalto collection was presented at the World Exhibition in Paris and is now considered a classic among design lovers. For the design Alvar Aalto was supposedly inspired by the Finnish landscape and lake forms that he had learned from his father, a cartographer. The glass objects are characterized by the organic design, which is found in the form of vases, bowls and trays. The products are painstakingly handcrafted, which is entirely in keeping with the demands of Alvar Aalto who always thought back to nature in his designs.
