Ceramic tray with colour gradient
The Herringbone Tray by Vitra is a round tray made of ceramic with an almost artistic colour gradient. The tray was designed by Raw-Edges, a designer couple consisting of Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer.
The technique of dyeing is done by hand: The tray is dipped at a certain angle into the coloured glaze. Through repetition different colour intensities are created, which make the design so special. The whole process is also done by hand, making each object unique.
Besides a tray, a bowl and a vase in the same style are also available.
