The Basket rug from Design House Stockholm was designed by Lena Bergström and is made entirely by hand. Hand-tufted in different directions, the carpet gets a three-dimensional look. Threads in different colors as well as shades add depth and give the rug a special shine. Basket is finally cut by hand and arranged in a tromp-l'oeil pattern, which is a tribute to the Swedish craft tradition. Sharp edges with soft transitions, together with the three-dimensional effects, are reminiscent of the birch bark baskets so typical of Swedish tradition.
Made from 100% sheep wool
The Basket rug is made of 100% sheep's wool and is available in various colors as well as sizes. Thus, it fits perfectly into any room and any taste and sets warm accents in the hallway, bedroom or living room.
