Ash wood wall hook
Danish designer Peter Johansen has created a wooden hook in the shape of the letter J for Normann Copenhagen . The Curve wall hook is classically shaped and immediately and intuitively reminds of its function. The multi-faceted curve adds sophistication to the simple design language and a beautiful precision to the somewhat oversized design. Curve Is a wall hook in its most traditional and symbolic form. It carries with ease multiple objects, such as clothes, bags and accessories.
With echoes of classic Danish design from the 50s, Peter Johansen has created a wall hook in a modern design. The starting point was the most normal shape of a hook imaginable, whose appearance he adapted and refined. The wide shape and the clearly recognizable wood structure gives the design warmth, humor and character.
Peter Johansen explains: "I have always liked hanging things. I am fascinated by the hook shape and find the function interesting. Many don't use the small hanging loop in the jacket at all anymore. So to be gentle on the garments, the hook needs to be wider. The hook Curve is intended as a fun utility on the wall. You can hang 1, 2, 3 or 10 of them, for a variety of purposes."
The Curve Coat Hook is crafted from molded wood and available in a Scandinavian-cool color palette. With their Nordic-clear expression, all colors beautify the - often white - walls in the hallway. Even with a single hook can create a graphic accent on the wall, with several in a row or in a particular pattern, the individual impression is perfect.
