Armchair in Saddle Leather and Wood
The Fredericia Spanish Chair is an armchair in saddle leather and solid wood by Børge Mogensen, who was inspired by traditional Spanish armchairs during a trip through Spain in 1958. The seat and backrest are adjustable thanks to the big brass buckles and the chair is easy to move around.
Arm Rests as Temporary Shelves
The chair's frame is finished in geometric precision to create a long-lasting premium chair. The extra wide armrests are perfect as a temporary shelf for glasses, mugs or small objects. The user does not need any extra furniture such as a side table in order to enjoy hours of comfortable lounging in the armchair. The Spanish Chair is a multifunctional piece of furniture that works well on its own, interacting with the room around it.
The frame of the Spanish Chair by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia is made in hardened oak and the purely plant tanned saddle leather is made of natural materials. The rustic and natural materials develop a unique patina that only improves over time.
