Plastic chair with coloured base
AAC - About A Chair by Hay is a chair series with a striking simplicity of design. Designer Hee Welling has reached a new level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics with this multi-faceted collection. As a variant, the popular Hay chair is available in a coloured design, in which the base frame and seat shell complement each other in colour.
Multifunctional shell chair
The chairs from About a Chair are deliberately kept simple and plain and can therefore be easily and simply combined with other furniture. Due to their simplicity, they blend in perfectly with a wide variety of environments and architectural styles, which is why the chairs are also predestined for the contract sector.
According to designer Hee Welling, the About a Chair chairs should feel at home in a restaurant or canteen, as well as in the office, at the home dining table or conference table. In this context, the idea of simplicity became a guarantee for multifunctionality and combinability.
The About A Chair AAC 22 has armrests and a wooden four-legged frame. The non-upholstered seat shell is made of through-dyed polypropylene, the base is available in different versions, so that the chair presents itself in a monochrome, single-colour look or with an oak base soaped or clear lacquered.
