The J104, designed in 1966 by Jøergen Bækmark, is part of the classic re-edition of Hay. The elegant chair connects past and future.
The typical Windsor chairs from the 18th century were models for the J104's design: The delicate backrest and the traditional production out of wood are characteristics of the Windsor chairs, which were given a timeless shape by Jøergen Bækmark. Originally produced by FDB, the J104 looks sturdy and delicate at the same time because of its unique structure. The minimalistic design has ensured that, even today, the chair is as modern as ever.
With its seat height of 44.5 cm, the J104 is ideally suited for use at the dining table. Thanks to the wide seating and arched backrest, the J104 Chair by Hay is exceptionally comfortable for a dining table chair made of just beechwood.
