With its 5-star-frame, PACC turns the Plastic Armchair into a rotating office chair.
The organically shaped seat shell of the Plastic Armchair has been combined with different bases since the 1950s and has been produced several million times. Made of polypropylene, the Armchairs offer a better sitting comfort today.
The Armchair PACC is a version of the Eames Plastic Chair which was already produced in the 1948 by Charles and Ray Eames and was the first ever industrially produced chair. PACC (Pivot Armchair Cast Base on Castors) is the office swivel chair of the series.
In order to avoid distraction from the formal, expressive, organically shaped shell, Vitra decided on a new height adjustment for the Armchair PACC, which is discreetly mounted under the seat shell.
To adjust the height, push the activating slide under the seat in the direction of the chair leg. You can either push on the left or the right side. By relieving or putting pressure on the seat shell, you can change the chair's height. When the chair is adjusted correctly, your thigh and lower leg form a 90° angle and your feet stand flat on the floor.
The Plastic Armchair PACC is also available in additional colours. The PACC can also be combined with seat cushions.
