Plastic armchair with five-star base on castors
With its 5-star base, PACC turns the Plastic Armchair into an office swivel chair. The organically shaped seat shell of the Plastic Armchair has been combined with different undercarriages since the 1950s and produced millions of times. Made of polypropylene, today's armchairs offer even greater seating comfort.
The Armchair PACC is a variant of the Eames Plastic Chair, which was designed by Charles and Ray Eames as early as 1948 and was the first industrially produced chair. PACC (Pivot Armchair Cast Base on Castors) is the office swivel chair in the series.
In order not to distract from the formally expressive, organically shaped shell shape, Vitra the Armchair PACC has opted for a new type of height adjustment, which is discreetly mounted under the seat shell.
To adjust the seat height, push the release slide under the seat towards the leg of the chair. You can press on either the left or right side. This allows you to adjust the height of the chair by relieving or loading the seat surface. At an ideally adjusted seat height, the upper and lower legs form an angle of 90° and your feet stand flat on the floor.
The Plastic Armchair PACC is also available in other colours. In addition, the PACC can be ordered with seat cushion.
