Plastic Armchair with five-star base on castors
With its 5-star base, PACC turns the Plastic Armchair into an office swivel chair. The organically shaped seat shell of the Plastic Armchair has been combined with various bases since the 1950s and has been produced millions of times. Made of polypropylene, today's armchairs offer even greater seating comfort.
The PACC Armchair is a variant of the Eames Plastic Chair, which was designed by Charles and Ray Eames as early as 1948 and was the first industrially produced chair. PACC (Pivot Armchair Cast Base on Castors) is the office swivel chair of the series.
In order not to distract from the formally expressive, organically shaped shell form, Vitra has opted for a new type of height adjustment for the Armchair PACC, which is discreetly mounted under the seat shell.
To adjust the seat height, push the release slide under the seat towards the leg of the chair. You can press on either the left or right side. You can adjust the height of the chair by relieving or loading the seat surface. When the seat height is ideally adjusted, the upper and lower legs form a 90° angle and your feet are flat on the floor.
The Plastic Armchair PACC is also available in other colours. In addition, the PACC can be ordered with a seat cushion.
