Plastic chair with coloured base
AAC - About A Chair from Hay is a chair series with striking simplicity in design. Designer Hee Welling has reached a new level in combining form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics with this multi-faceted collection. As a variant, the popular Hay chair is available in a coloured design, where the base and seat shell complement each other in colour.
Multifunctional shell chair
The chairs from About a Chair are deliberately kept simple and unpretentious, which is precisely why they can be easily combined with other furniture. Due to their simplicity, they fit perfectly into a wide variety of environments and architectural styles, which is why the chairs are also predestined for the contract sector.
According to the ideas of designer Hee Welling, the About a Chair chairs should feel just as much at home in a restaurant or canteen as they do in the office, at the dining table at home or at a conference table. In this context, the idea of simplicity became a guarantee for multifunctionality and combinability.
The About A Chair AAC 22 has armrests and a wooden four-legged frame. The non-upholstered seat shell is made of dyed-through polypropylene, the base is available in different variants, so that the chair presents itself both in a monochrome, monochrome look or with an oak base soaped or clear lacquered.
