Modern armchair in 50s style
The Knot Chair by Normann Copenhagen combines classic materials and modern aesthetics. Designed by Tatsuo Kuroda, the armchair is reminiscent of the furniture classics of the 50s.
"With Knot, I wanted to create a whole new kind of chair with both classic and modern elements. The aim was to combine the function and aesthetics of the Scandinavian design classics into a higher unity". Tatsuo Kuroda
Despite his Japanese roots, the designer was inspired by the Scandinavian design tradition.
Made of ash wood with joints of natural paper yarn
The armchair is made of ash wood. Expressive connections made of natural paper yarn, which ensure optimum seating comfort, underline the harmonious impression of the chair. The paper yarn is an eye-catcher and gives the chair stability and a special aesthetic. So Knot makes a great chair at the dining table or desk. But also on its own, the modern chair blends well into any room.
The Knot Chair by Normann Copenhagen is available in different colours.
