Round table with column base
It has been impossible to imagine architecture without columns for a long time, and they have often served as inspiration for designers and architects for just as long. This was also the case for designer Simon Legald, who created the Scala tables for Normann Copenhagen . Paying homage to the constructive significance of the column, Legald highlights the column shape in the otherwise simple design. The frame of the table consists of four columns whose expression changes depending on the perspective of the viewer. This sturdy steel base supports a round tabletop made of oak veneer, marble or stainless steel.
Versatile
In different sizes and with different materials, the table is suitable for use as a coffee table in the Scala table can be used as a coffee table in the living room, as a side table in the hallway, for the whole family in the dining room or even in a café. The different sizes can also be wonderfully combined.
