Holmegaard - Design With Light Glass Bowl

Since 2011, Maria Berntsen’s Design with Light lanterns by Holmegaard have radiated light and heat, both indoors and outdoors, on the floor and on the table. Holmegaard is now expanding the popular collection with a new Design with Light creation, in the shape of a round glass bowl which succeeds in crossing softly over from being a source of light to lively storage all-rounder.

For Maria Berntsen, good design must first of all fulfill a certain function. She also loves to experiment and follow her intuitions at the same time when it comes to create something new. That’s how the designer instinctively changes her atmospheric lanterns into mobile glass bowls, by reinforcing the soft lines and closing the lateral openings of the glass.

The result: three differently sized glass containers (H: 10 cm, 12 cm and 16 cm) with multiple modern functions. Fond holiday memories, fresh flowers and other decorative things become interesting eye-catchers inside the Design with Light glass bowls.
