Playful Knot Cushion
With its unusual appearance, the Knot Cushion by Design House Stockholm will be remembered and puts a smile on the face of every beholder. The Icelandic designer Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir has always been interested in unusual designs. The idea for the cushion comes from the design of a teddy bear whose extremely long legs were accidentally tied to a knot. Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir also emphasises that she used to be a girl scout and thus learned how to tie knots.
”I wanted to try tying the tubes into knots and seeing the outcome. I found the idea of a big, soft knot intriguing in a fun kind of pop-arty way. I also like that when you take a first look at the cushion you might not really know what it is, and perhaps that is what draws you closer.” designer Ragnheiður Ösp Sigurðardóttir
Colourful Accents
The Knot cushion finds its place in the living room, in the bedroom or in the children's room and gives a kick of coulour to any living space.
Cleaning & Care
While the cover is a wool acrylic mixture, the filling consists of 100% polyester. Therefore the cushion should only be washed cold by hand and dried flat to avoid affecting the structure of the cushion.
