The Basic Futon mattress from Karup Design combines the authentic feel of a Japanese futon with the comfort of a modern foam bed. With a thickness of 11 cm, a cotton filling and a PU foam core, it offers a good balance between support and softness. The medium-firm lying comfort adapts perfectly to the body, while the foam core gently cushions slight movements.

The addition of 5-10% polyester gives the futon a higher density and durability, while remaining breathable and pleasantly natural. Each mattress is carefully made by hand - small variations are therefore a sign of true craftsmanship.
