Stoneware dinnerware set with floral design
This Unikko 60th Anniversary Set by Juhla for Marimekko with Unikko pattern consists of a 250 ml Oiva mug and a small Oiva plate measuring 15 x 12 cm. Made from white stoneware, the items are versatile as they are dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe.

Unikko by Maija Isola
Unikko was designed by Maija Isola in 1964 and has become an icon of print design worldwide. Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko , initially believed that it was impossible to capture the true essence of real flowers in print, which led to floral prints being excluded from the Marimekko collections. Maija Isola therefore designed Unikko as an abstract depiction of a flower, eschewing photorealism. Today, Unikko is a vibrant symbol of joy and creativity that is seamlessly woven into the design ethos of Marimekko .
