Wooden Bowl out of Wood
The Salt Egg by Spring Copenhagen was designed by Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen's and is a small salt container in the shape of an egg made out of ash wood. The idea for the Salt Egg is already 50 years old. However, the production at that time would have been too expensive hence why the egg was never produced.
Wooden Bowl with Lid
The egg is made of ash wood and features a removable lid. Salt, as well as small nuts and other treats can be stored inside of the container in a safe and dry way. The Salt Egg is a great example of functional art and the perfect companion to the Pepper Bird by Spring Copenhagen.
