Floor lamp with steel wire frame
The Wire floor lamp by Verpan is a design by Danish designer Verner Panton from 197 2. The lamp has a twisted steel wire frame that is reminiscent of a spring and therefore appears light and airy. The frame ends in a hemispherical shade made of plastic, under which a metal reflector is concealed. The luminaire emits a soft, diffuse light that bathes the room in a cozy atmosphere.
The shape of the lamp is reminiscent of a light bulb, making it a real eye-catcher. Verner Panton was known for his extravagant designs, playing with shapes, colors and materials. The Wire floor lamp clearly bears the designer's signature and is part of his successful furniture and lighting collection.
