The Dokka Pendant lamp from Northern is a small luminaire with a big history. Designed by Birger Dahl back in 1954, it was the first luminaire from Norway to be awarded a gold medal at the famous Triennale di Milano. Thanks to the soft contours and high-quality materials, the lamp quickly became a classic and is still one of the best-selling pendant lamps in Norway.
In 2007, Northern relaunched the luminaire, combining timeless design with innovative and modern technology. The luminaire is made of durable painted steel with a brass ring. It is available in a variety of colors and thus adapts perfectly to many room situations. Arranged above the dining table or a side table in the living room, the lamp becomes an eye-catcher and distributes the light in a pleasant way. The luminaire is named after the Norwegian city Dokka in the province of Oppland.
