Mother-of-pearl lamp by Verner Panton
The Fun 2DM Pendant luminaire from Verpan is a design by Danish designer Verner Panton, who was known for his extravagant lighting and furniture creations. His pronounced love of detail is perfectly demonstrated by the example of the 1964 designed Fun Light.
The pendant luminaire is made of numerous mother-of-pearl elements, which provide a multifaceted play with light. The mother-of-pearl plates are connected by small metal rings, which create a light, contemplative sound when moved. Organised into chains of different lengths, the plates hang from two metal rings. Their fragile appearance makes the lamp appear particularly noble. Arranged above the dining table in particular, the pendant lamp provides a soft light and is a great eye-catcher.
Equipped is the Fun 2DM Pendant luminaire with an E27 socket, which can be fitted with a lamp of your choice.
