Porcelain meets clear form
The Seam collection, designed by Seppe van Heusden for Serax , is the result of a shared appreciation for honest materials and contemporary design. The porcelain and metal lamps celebrate precision craftsmanship - with a deliberate focus on the seam created on the top of the shade during the traditional casting process. Instead of concealing it, van Heusden makes this line a striking design feature of the series. The delicate, flowing shapes of the porcelain lend the lights a light, elegant appearance, while the matt black steel base creates a deliberate contrast. With their restrained color scheme and clear silhouette, the lights adapt to any environment - whether individually as a statement or combined as a harmonious lighting landscape.
