The Crate Lounge Chair from the house Hay is one of the classics that have been reissued. The Crate collection of Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld, was designed in 1934. The goal was to use surplus wooden crates for transportation. The Crate Lounge Chair was produced with a strong focus on the original design and features the same, extremely precisely balanced proportions. The transparent design allows for a streamlined assembly process. The low elements, gently sloping backrest and seat with supportive armrests give the chair its simplicity. Crate Lounge Chair Offers comfort without taking up a lot of space. It is made of solid pine wood and thanks to its water-based paint finish, the lounge chair can be placed both indoors and outdoors. Available in different colors.
