Lighting in the Industrial Style
The Tribeca collection was designed by Søren Rose for Menu. The Danish designer was inspired of the atmosphere and special glamour of the City of New York in the late 1930s. Especially the industrial charm of the district of Tribeca in the southwestern part of Manhattan influenced the style of the lamps.
Søren Rose travelled to the United States for his lamps collection, in order to find beautiful old lamps and recyclable parts. These parts were carefully taken apart and newly arranged by him to create a variety of individual creations of pendant and table lamps...
