platten_bau" is a stick-together shelf-system. The single bits can be mounted without any tools

The Shelf solely consists of 4mm HPL-Plates. Despite the light material thickness, the T-carrier (functions as reinforcement ribs) causes utmost stability. Set up, the "platten_bau" gives a filigree and airy impression but furthermore it is also a very strong and enduring shelf. Also, "platten_bau" wins not only over its lightness but also with its enormous flexibility. It is easily enlargeable with additional trays.

Every tray consists of single elements, thus, the individually desired heights and widths can be realized. “platten_bau” has four different tray heights: for CDs, pocket books, folder or illustrated books. The opened trays can be closed with hanging claps and – if needed – the single elements can be furnished with back boards.

Through the usage of thin plate material and abdication of heavy and bulky units, it results a very convenient weight which enables an easy transportation and. For example, a shelf unit with six trays is when disjoined not bigger than a common executive case and can thus, easily be packed and shipped.

The Plattenbau shelving system is also available in the colours graphite grey, sand and yellow.
