The Table Lamp PH 2/1 is part of the 2/1- family by Louis Poulsen, already including a chandelier, a pendant lamp as well as a wall lamp. The design of the lamp was coined by Poul Henningsen whose initials make the name of the lamp.

This small table lamp PH 2/1 was designed out of the principle of a reflecting three-shade system that leads most of the light downwards. The three shades are manufactured by Louis Poulsen out of mouth blown opal three-layer glass. The shades are glossy inside and sandblasted outside, enabling a soft and diffuse light spread.

Because of the small size, the PH 2/1 table lamp offers exceptional placing possibilities in rooms where small light points must be created to make a pleasant atmosphere and to emphasize the dimensions of every room it stands in.

Louis Poulsen equipped the PH 2/1 table lamp with a bright halogen illuminant with a G9 socket. Foot, disk and tube consist of high-gloss-chromed brass and elegantly round up the white opal glass of the lamp shade. The cable is made out of black plastic and possesses a cable switch.
