B-Line has its home in Grisignano di Zocco in Bella Italia. There they have made it a target to share a small and original piece of the sociocultural legacy of design over the last 40 years with their audience. The genius, self-taught Rodolfo Bonetto is perfect for the concept.
‘Design is like a butterfly’, the Milanese Bonetto once said before he died in 1991. ‘If you push too hard, it dies; if you let it go, then it flies away.’ And from flying it's not a large step to the umbrella (which, as we know, has already been used to fly with), which finds a new home in the Aki umbrella stand.
Aki is Japanese and means autumn. It is no wonder, as an umbrella is often useful in this season. The minimalistic and friendly design of the stand is big enough to hold four umbrellas, ensuring a bit of sunny mood inside of the house.
Since B-Line produces the Aki umbrella stand from rotomoulded, weather-resistant polyethylene, it is suitable for outdoor use.
