Chair made of leather and wood
The BM1160 Huntsman Chair was designed by Børge Mogensen as early as 1950 and is brought back onto the market by Carl Hansen. Originally the chair was presented at the Cabinetmakers' Furniture Guild exhibition in Copenhagen and was part of Mogensen's hunting lodge theme together with the BM1160 Hunting Dining Table.
Buckle details in brass or stainless steel
The chair combines two completely contradictory approaches: simplicity and complexity. Clear forms and defined lines characterise the design, which is rounded off by unique details. The frame consists of sanded solid wood with rounded edges. The luxurious saddler leather is stretched by buckles and holders made of steel or brass, so that a great contrast between noble and robust materials is created.
Comfortable sitting
Thanks to the leather, the deep seat and the armrests, the Huntsman Chair is quite comfortable and allows a variety of comfortable sitting positions. With its high-quality materials and timeless design, the chair is a piece of furniture that has inspired generations to come. Standing alone or integrated into an existing seating area, the BM1160 Huntsman Chair blends harmoniously into any ambience.
