The most conspicuous aesthetic feature of the 0.3 chair is its clear and simple shape. At first glance it appears unremarkable and unspectacular - it only reveals its true qualities at first use. Thus the 0.3 chairs are the epitome of ‘less is more’, which designer Maarten van Severen has perfected with multiple products for Vitra.
The great comfort of the inconspicuous chairs is shown when sitting: the flexible, integral foam seat and back shell supports the body, to which the leaf springs integrated into the backrest in particular contribute.
The Vitra 0.3 chair is also available in a stackable edition. The difference here is in the width of the relevant chairs and the location of the rear legs. The rear legs on the non-stackable chairs stick out from the bottom of the seat, while on the stackable chairs they are installed on the side so they can be stacked without a problem on top of each other.
