Award winning chair for the dining room
The Vester Chair from Skagerak is a comfortable dining chair with a well-proportioned design. Discreetly elegant and restrained, the chair does not lose its momentum despite its many linear elements and can be presented in private as well as public spaces such as restaurants. This also convinced the jury of the Danish Design Awards 2020, which is why Vester was named furniture piece of the year.
The chair was designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm for the Danish Svinkløv bath hotel.
Oak wood and brass details
Several unique details distinguish the Vester Suhl from Skagerak A transversal brass rod that indicates where the chair can be pulled out, legs that continue upwards into the backrest and become a small hook on which handbags or jackets can be hung, and a body of gold-oiled oak that forms a natural contrast to the brass details.
