The book frame by Vonbox is an exceptional book shelf - since the minimal material used is the reason why stable and filigree frames emerge that embrace the books and present them with style. The two narrow brackets that connect the frame and the wall disappearing in the middle of a book as a bookmark – this is how it seems like the frame would float.
Available in three different formats
The manufacturer Vonbox created three different frames according to the design of Trapp-Nosek Dietermann since books are also available in different formats: This is how is a corresponding framework exists for paperback books, books and illustrated books. A vivid, three-dimensional mural that incorporates the books like a sculpture into the room emerges by means of the arrangement of the frames with the different formats.
The frames are made of white, powder-coated steel and are extremely stable despite of their delicate appearance. The book frame was nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic Germany in 2012 and honored with the design award of Rheinland-Pfalz in 2011.
