Corky by Muuto is a carafe for water and wine as well as a bottle for milk or juices. The design comes from Andreas Engesvik.

The idea behind the carafe is to create a simple and familiar shape, which is rounded off with an oversized design. An archetypal bottle was the inspiration for the Corky Carafe design. The straight-lined shape is completed by the combination of glass and cork. Appealing and familiar in its appearance, Corky has a noticeable detail:

An oversized cork stopper sits on the wide bottle neck. The “cork ball” closes the bottle, is light and pleasant to touch and is at the same time the element which gives Corky by Muuto its unmistakable look. Simple, functional: it’s Scandinavian.

One of my best loved Muuto products. The simple bulky form looks very warm and gives the carafe a kind of a sculptural appearance. It's wide enough to be cleaned pretty easily. The over sized cork stopper acts as a beautiful focal point and gives a strong character to the piece.Put at the carafe top gives an impression like floating in the air from a's been the most impressive carafe l've found so far.
