The Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide has been producing the well-known Tolomeo luminaire by designers Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi since 1987. The Tolomeo LED desk lamp is powered by energy-saving and long-lasting LEDs.

With Tolomeo, Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi created a pioneering and extremely successful design for a desk lamp that can now be found on the desks of countless architectural offices and agencies.

The highly mobile frame, the simple aluminum look and the hat-shaped shade are the hallmarks of the Tolomeo luminaire, whose simple and archetypal form served as inspiration for many manufacturing companies and designers to create similar luminaires.

Thanks to the enormous flexibility of the swivel arm and the rotatable lampshade, the direct light of the Tolomeo LED table lamp can be optimally aligned on the desk. The LED light sources are characterized by greatly reduced energy consumption, a long service life and optimum light output. With LED luminaires, 100% of the light is emitted directly into the surroundings, eliminating wasted energy and light emission in other directions.

The Tolomeo LED table lamp from Artemide is made of shiny, polished aluminum. Table feet, a table clamp or a screw attachment are also available for mounting the luminaire.
