Three-legged floor lamp

The Gräshoppa floor lamp GM1 from Gubi embodies a stylish timelessness. The three-legged GM1 from 1947 is one of the most important works of the Swedish-American designer Greta Magnusson Grossman.

The design of the floor lamp has lost none of its individual charm over the decades. Since 1947, the design has become a real classic: Well thought-out and mature, it still presents itself Gräshoppa even today. Whether as a reading lamp next to the couch, as decoration in empty corners or as an eye-catcher in the room - it Gräshoppa fits everywhere.

Greta Magnusson Grossman was inspired by Walter Gropius and Le Corbusier in her work. Nevertheless, she followed her own style and shaped American mid-century design with her European influences. Grossmann received numerous awards, not for nothing the Gräshoppa floor lamp GM1 by Greta Magnusson Grossman has stood the test of time.

The Danish company Gubi produces the Gräshoppa lamp according to the original designs of Greta Magnusson Grossman. The floor lamp is available in different colours.
