Sculptural light object with poetic precision
The Luce Sferica LED pendant luminaire, designed by Ronan Bouroullec, is a modular pendant luminaire that combines technical sophistication and sensual materiality. Its horizontal housing made of polished, extruded aluminum houses two powerful LED strips that gently emit their light upwards and downwards. An integrated touch dimmer enables the light intensity on both sides to be controlled independently, creating an individually adaptable lighting ambience - from clear task lighting to atmospheric room ambience.
The luminaire is surrounded by a sequence of hand-blown, transparent glass spheres, which are separated from each other by filigree spacers. This rhythmic arrangement lends the luminaire a floating lightness and makes it a sculptural highlight of contemporary lighting design, whether installed individually or in rows.
