The Nelson Cigar Crisscross Bubble pendant lamp from Hay is part of the Nelson lamp collection, a group of lighting fixtures in charming, spherical shapes. The elongated lampshade of this design object has an interesting cross pattern in its basic structure. George Nelson, inspired by a set of silk-covered Swedish pendant lamps, designed the series in 195 2.
