Table Lamp for Colourful Accents
The Transloetje table lamp is a relative of the popular Edison The Petit table lamp - both are by Fatboy, have a similar shape, boast exceptional details and have their very own character.
Transloetje is available in many different colours and creates all manner of lively and colourful accents - both inside the house and outside in the garden or on the balcony, as the light is ultra mobile. It is cordless and rechargeable via a Micro-USB connector, so you can easily take it anywhere you might need it. It is also the ideal companion for a picnic in the park.
A look at the Inside
In contrast to the Edison the Petit, Transloetje reveals its insides: this portable table lamp in retro design presents the viewer with an LED lamp in the shape of a traditional light bulb, which is connected by a cable to the battery in the base.
Dimmable and Mobile
The lamp is dimmable in three different phases so it can deliver the appropriate light appropriate to each mood. The Transloetje does not need a visible switch - to switch it on or off or dim, you simply touch the base of the lamp. Depending on the light intensity the battery life after charging is between 6 and 20 hours - definitely long enough for cosy evenings at the garden table or on your reading chair.

Where does the name Transloetje come from? The word is an artificial word made up of two terms that get to the essence of this light: one, they wanted to create a TRANSparent version of the Edison the Petit from Fatboy. And they succeeded. Two, ‘loetje’ is an old-fashioned Dutch word derived from Italian ‘luce’, meaning light. That’s how the table lamp got its name.
