Vico Magistretti’s Atollo is more than just a lamp. Atollo is an icon, a myth and one of the most famous symbols of Italian design of the 20th century.

Since 1989, the Italian company Oluce has manufactured Atollo in various sizes and variations. Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, the small table lamp won the coveted Compasso d’Oro just two years later.

Atollo was subsequently incorporated into numerous permanent collections of the world’s leading design museums, where it can still be found today. The combination of various geometric shapes gives Atollo its characteristic appearance and makes it unmistakable.

The cylindrical body of the lamp, which is completed with a semicircle-shaped shade, rests on a circle-shaped aluminium base. Oluce has produced Atollo from blown Murano glass since 1989. Every table lamp is equipped with multiple lightbulbs, making it a completely luminescent sculpture.Atollo emits direct and diffuse light.
