The Flowerpot lamps from & Tradition became synonymous with the flower power movement in the late 60s. They reflect a break with convention and lead to a more open, modern mentality that promotes peace and harmony. This was the mindset of their designer Verner Panton. He was one of the most progressive talents of his time.
The Flowerpot Series consists of various models, including pendant lamps, table lamps - and this wall lamp. They are all available in many colors.
The wall lamp VP8 consists of a dome-like metal shade, from which a round pendant light protrudes - the experimental design is typical of Verner Panton. The round shape is repeated in the wall bracket, where the on/off switch is also located. The two polished stainless steel rods break up the composition and are barely noticeable, depending on the wall color. It creates the impression that the lampshade magically floats.
The modern design of the lamp allows it to be used in a wide variety of interiors, whether as a night lamp in the bedroom or as discreet lighting in the hallway.
