Wall Panel for the String Shelving System 30 cm

The wall panel 30 cm by String belongs to the String System, that was designed by Nisse Strinning. It is made from steel and is available in various finishes.

The wall panel measuring 30 cm creates a compact shelf which looks great next to the desk. It offers a stylish and decorative surface on which to keep books and files, but can also just as easily be used in the entrance area.

String System

You can create a wide variety of shelves for any room with the String System. The side panels give the shelves their unmistakable character. Being elegant and slender, they allow String to climb up the wall like graceful "ladders". The simple, modern design made the shelves extremely popular shortly after they were introduced in 1949.

Compared to many other shelving systems, it's very easy to put the individual components together: The lateral, ladder-like panels and the individual shelves are the basis. On top of that, the shelf can be enhanced with other parts, e.g. a magazine rack, a cupboard with sliding doors or a worktop that transforms the shelf into a desk.
