Christoph Böninger

Christoph Böninger studied Industrial Design and Environmental Design in Munich and Los Angeles. In 1982 he designed the first laptop PC in the world as his diploma, which is displayed today in the Neue Sammlung, Munich.

In 1997 he started working for Siemens in New York and he stayed with this company in various management-functions until 2006.

Parallely he always designed furniture for companies such as ClassiCon. In 2010 he fulfilled his dream of founding his own non-marketing-driven furniture company, named AUERBERG, together with friend and colleagues.
