Scandinavian design with a global perspective
The Danish designer duo Lukas & Oliver WeissKrogh combines modern functionality with cultural depth and Scandinavian aesthetics. Both studied industrial design at the internationally renowned Kolding Design School in Denmark and founded their own multidisciplinary studio WeissKrogh in 2012, specializing in furniture, product design and brand development.
Growing up in a family of architects and industrial designers, design was a natural part of Lukas and Oliver's lives from the very beginning. Encounters with design legends such as Verner Panton, Knud Friis and Lin Utzon shaped their creative attitude, as did numerous trips that deepened their passion for architecture, art and culture.
Her designs reflect a deep understanding of form, function and materiality - always in harmony with the responsible use of resources. Sustainability is not an option for them, but a central principle of their creative process. Her goal: timeless designs that outlast generations and at the same time meet the aesthetic demands of the present.
The design duo
Oliver WeissKrogh, born in Denmark in 1987, is a Danish designer and co-founder of the WeissKrogh studio. After studying industrial design at the internationally recognized Kolding School of Design, he obtained a Master of Fine Arts.
Lukas WeissKrogh, born in Denmark in 1990, is a designer and co-founder of Studio WeissKrogh. He studied industrial design at the renowned Kolding School of Design and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
