The Alessi Blow Up is a magazine holder whose inimitable design was created by the brothers Humberto & Fernando Campana.
The Alessi Blow Up magazines holder is reminiscent of jackstraws and is based on the idea of welding hypothetical steel wire remainders in order to create different container shapes.
All the objects of the Alessi Blow Up collection have the unmistakable handwriting of the Brazilian Campana brothers. The seemingly randomly organised individual metal sticks, reminiscent of a jackstraws game or explosions, sometimes result in a bowl, other times in a plate or a fruit bowl. The lively geometric interplay of shadows is also interesting, since it looks different according to the room’s light.
The Blow Up objects by Humberto and Fernando Campana are made of mirror polished 18/10 stainless steel.
