Timeless designer chair
With its simple and soft lines, the CH33 is reminiscent of the classics of the 1950's and 1960's. The designer Hans J. Wegner was inspired by traditional forms that have shaped the CH33 Chair to a timeless chair, which today as well as back then thrills with quality workmanship and a classical design language.
A classic for every area
The slightly angled legs support the sturdy construction of the chair and this way, communicate a lightweight appearance despite high stability.
The connections between the rear legs and the backrest are visible, classic examples of Hans J. Wegner's love for honest design based on solid craftsmanship. So, the buttons of the chair’s back are always in the same wood finish as the chair’s frame. A unifying element that is not only static but also visually merges the solid base frame and backrest made of veneer.
Multi-faceted classics in different colours
The CH33 represents many for Hans J. Wegner typical design aspects: the light and elegant-looking chair by Carl Hansen is suitable for the dining area and can be used as an object in virtually all living and work areas - a property, which are owed to the many variants of the chair classic.
In different wood types, the CH33 is available either lacquered or oiled. Beech and oak variants are also available on request with a soaped wood type.
In addition to the upholstered version the CH33 is available as full wood version in different types of wood. Also in our blog:
