The slightly flared legs support the chair's sturdy construction, communicating a lightweight look despite high stability.
The connections between the back legs and the backrest are visible, classic examples of Hans J. Wegner's love of honest design based on solid craftsmanship. Here, the knobs of the chair back are always in the same wood finish as the chair frame. A unifying element that brings the solid base and veneer back together not only statically, but also visually.
Multifaceted classic in different colors
CH33 expresses many of Hans J. Wegner's characteristic design aspects: the light and elegant chair from Carl Hansen is suitable for the dining area and can be used as an object in almost all living and working areas - a characteristic that is owed to the many variants of the classic chair.
In different woods, the CH33 is available both lacquered and oiled. Beech and oak variants are also available with a soaped wood upon request.
In addition to the upholstered variant, the CH33 is also available as solid wood variants in different woods.
