Windsor Style Armchair
The J42 armchair by Hay is a reedition of the classic armchair designed by Børge Mogensen in 1933. The chair is characterised by its horizontal and vertical wooden struts, which provide a curved backrest and straight armrests. The wide seat is particularly inviting and perfect to sit at the desk as well as at the dining table. The chair also comes into its own in the living room and bedroom.
Modelled on the traditional Windsor chairs, the chair features widely spaced wooden rods, which are made from natural solid oak or beech wood, or different finishes. The seat is made of plywood. Used in private or public sectors, the chair is an eye-catcher in any environment.
