HAY - Copenhague CPH20 side table

The Danish manufacturer HAY has invited the designer brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec to create a collection for the redesigned University of Copenhagen (KUA). The result is the Copenhague series, which consists of a chair, a bar stool and various tables.

HAY and the Bouroullecs have tried to design furniture for an educational institution whose form and identity clearly belong to our time and meet the needs of a university. The Copenhague Round Table, which is available as a dining table and side table, is therefore very functional, but without being too serious in its expression.

With their Copenhague Round Table CPH20, the two designers also wanted to free themselves from the institutional and bureaucratic expression of traditional furniture in learning facilities and create objects with greater originality and a more homely feel. HAY manufactures the Copenhague Round Table in oak wood, other versions are available on request.
