Minimalist Desk Lamp
The Type 75 desk lamp by Anglepoise combines elegant and classic design with excellent function. The emergence of the lamp goes back to a draft of the industrial designer George Carwardine, who had the idea to create a versatile working light already in the 1930s. After Type 1208, he designed the type 1227 for the domestic interior, which today is considered a classic amongst the table lamps. After 80 years of development, the Type 75 now finds its place on the tables of the world and has great potential to be traded as a design icon, too.
High Flexibility due to Tension Spring Technology
Sir Kenneth Grange’s draft inspires by timeless design that fits into any interior style and at the same time it meets the demands of a desk luminaire perfectly. According to use does the type 75 desk lamp allow to be precisely adapted in height, thanks to the specially developed tension spring technology. In addition, the flexible shade allows to be turned in the desired direction. This way, the lamp adapts to any situation - whether for reading on the sofa, as a nightstand lamp next to the bed or as a lamp in the domestic and commercial interiors.
In cooperation with the fashion design icon Margaret Howell a colour collection was created which brings a fresh breeze in the office and into your home. With the rich colours such as Ochre Yellow, Saxon Blue and Sea Grass, the otherwise industrial style of the light presents itself with a cheerful look and places a highlight that enhances any environment.
