Pendant luminaire with plug
Hot Achille pendant luminaire by Ingo Maurer captivates with minimalism, straight lines and a special lighting atmosphere. The 3 m long thin coaxial cable forms the holder for the slightly curved aluminium reflector and is fixed to the ceiling. At ground level, a weight tightens the cable so that the lamp does not swing when there is a slight draft. Power is then supplied via a plug and socket so that the luminaire can be placed flexibly in the living area.
Cord light for dimming & Adjustment
The luminaire can be attached to the cable at the desired height and thus serve as an alternative ceiling lamp, reading lamp or night light. Thanks to the 360° rotatable handle, the reflector can also be rotated so that it emits either indirect light directed towards the ceiling or direct light directed downwards. With the help of a dimmer, the light intensity can also be regulated individually to create a cosy or radiant light.
light art
The Hot Achille lamp designed in 1994 corresponds to the typical design language of Ingo Maurer, who has been known for more than 40 years for his extravagant lamp creations. Thus the Hot Achille is not only suitable as a practical lighting object, but is a true light sculpture with extravagant charm.
