Glass pendant luminaire with diamond pattern
Tartan is the typical plaid pattern of Scottish wool Tartan . The geometric shapes result from the combination of horizontal and vertical lines that create new shapes over and over again. This is how the inspiration for the design of the Tartan pendant lamp by the designers Ludovica and Roberta Palomba came about.
For production, the glass is blown into a mold that has linear notches. This is how the checked pattern is created on thelampshade, which afterwards sets special accents with light and shadow. In addition, the glass is treated with an acid, which gives it a soft, velvety surface.
While subdued, warm light penetrates through the glass ball, direct light shines down through an opening in the bottom of the lampshade and thus specifically illuminates the area below, such as dining tables or living room tables.
The Tartan pendant luminaire is a bit playful and yet elegant and therefore fits perfectly into any living environment. The light is also available in different versions as an LED with or without a dimming function.
MyLight technology for control
The lights by Foscarini convince both when switched on and when they are switched off and create a special atmosphere in the room. Thanks to the MyLight technology, this mood can be adapted even better to individual needs.
With MyLight, the light can be controlled and adapted to personal needs. This is how it works: Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone or tablet and download the free Mylight app. The luminaire is automatically recognized by the app so that it can be switched on and off with a click on the device. In addition, it is possible to regulate the color temperature and the brightness in order to always adapt the light to the mood.
